Renata is originally from the island of Trinidad and came to the US in 2000. She holds several degrees and certificates in various fields, including Veterinary Technology; Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine for Veterinary Technician; Traditional Chinese Veterinary Food Therapy; Traditional Chinese Veterinary Massage; and Culinary Arts. Renata runs her own catering company, My Personal Chef, and focuses on using local, organic and sustainable food for both humans and animals. She is more than willing to make either pet food, artisan bread or L.I.M.E. Hot Sauce per your request. She is also the founder of Charleston's two newest underground dining experience LIME: Local. Impromptu.Moveable.Evening. and Savor Charleston. At Sun Dog Cat Moon, she works part-time as a consultant, using her knowledge and love of food to formulate individual diets for animals based on Dr. Roberts' diagnosis of the animal. She also is responsible for ensuring our website and e-newsletters are in stellar form.
